COMPASS User Positioning Accuracy Evaluation Based on Single Point Pseudo-Range Positioning Principle Wang Lijie, Cai Chenglin, Li Zhibin, Wei Zhaochuan, Li Tiansong Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Guilin, China, 541004 1.wangzh163.com2.chengcailin@126.com Abstract: In the regional performance evaluation of COMPASS satellite navigation system, GuiLin university of electronic technology established a monitoring station with CORS type receiver of Unicore Communications, Inc. in GuiLin, Guangxi, to develop the regional performance evaluation test. The main evaluation algorithms are equal-weighted least squares (LS) algorithm based on single point positioning principle, GEO and IGSO/MEO satellites position calculating algorithms, Niell/Saastamoinen tropospheric delay correction model algorithm which is more excellent at low elevation, relativistic error correction algorithm, Earth rotation correction algorithm, single-frequency and dual-frequency ionospheric delay correction algorithm etc. Through 7-day data sample statistics with sampling rate of 30s , it is concluded that the test results of COMPASS positioning accuracy is: superior to 10 meters in both horizontal direction and elevation direction, so as to the 3D position.
