Abstract :In order to facilitate networked management for instruments ，the currently existing networking modes of instrumentation are studied ，
and the network agent supporting instrumentation with multiple types of interfaces is designed． Through network agent ，instruments and devices
are able to access the network and interconnect with the host computer ;the agent communicates with the host computer using Ethernet based
high speed LAN instrument protocol HiSLIP ;and forwards the information transmitted from host computer to instruments and devices via VISA
interface ;thus the remote control from host computer to instruments and devices is implemented． The practice indicates that the communication
between host computer and instrumentation is excellent．
