Mixed Energy Module Description: It is a module of energy system ( from the exploitation of energy, the transformation, transportation, marketing to final energy demand). It predicts the supply capability, prices, demand and macroeconomic parameters of energy by system stimulation, in order to give information support for our country in energy policies and decision making. Thus, both the macroeconomic module (form the top to the bottom) and energy demand and supply module (form the bottom to the top) are included in this model. This module is a simulation of the entire energy-economy-environment system, which is complex and huge. Global, regional or national aspects are included in the study while in the structure, aspects such as economy, supply, transformation, demand, environment are included in this comprehensive and integrated model. Currently, the study and application of this module is relatively rare in China since this complex project can only be done with the guarantee of sufficient professional researchers and time due to the wide range of technologies and fields involved in this module. Typical Mixed Energy Modules are the NEMS module developmed by DOE and IIASA-WEC E3 module codeveloped by the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis(IIASA) and the World Energy Council(WEC). 表4 典型综合模型的特点 Table4.
