Enterprise management is the source of Operational Research, the concept of Operational Research runs throughout?the whole process?of?enterprise management. Specifically, it plays significant roles in strategic management,?production planning, transportation?problems, marketing， inventory management, financial accounting, along with after-sale service. This paper initially introduced the basic theory of Operational Research, and then discussed the basic methods of Operations Research applications in the enterprise management. Afterwards, analysis of different applications of Operations Research in various stages of business management was conducted, and a practical case which verified the significance of Operational Research in enterprise management was presented. Finally, this paper put forward some improvements in the application of Operations Research in business management. All in all, the case study can reveal the practical guiding significance of Operational Research on scientific decision-making in business management.
