　Jo rnal of Xinxiang Medical College 　Vol.22　No.6　Nov.2005 ·621 · ·· 1 2 任小巧, 　郭丽娅 (1., 　　　450007;2., 　　　453003) 　　:　　(IS), IS 。　 、、。　, 、, , ; 。　。 :　;;; :R743.3　:A　:1004-7239(2005)06-0621-03 Analyses of the current situation of drugs treatment of ischemic stroke 1 2 REN Xiao-qiao ,GUO Li-ya (1.Tradational Chinese Medicinal Hosp ital of ZhengZhou ;2.X inx iang Medical College) Abstract:　Objective　To introd ce the c rrent sit ation of the research on dr g treatment of ischemic stroke(IS), and to look forward the development of the treatment on the disorder.Methods　Data retrieval was done, and analyzed, the re- lated doc ment investigated in the treatment of IS in internal and external co ntries.Results　With space w ith advance of research of dr g treatment on IS the death rate of the disease and the disablement were dropped in IS patients.The ne ropro- tective therapy was proved to be effective in animal models of stroke b t not in h mans.The extensive administration of the therapy was restrained clinically d e to the lack of efficacy of the dr gs.Several reasons co ld explain why the res lts of trials w ith antioxidant dr gs w ere not as good in h mans as they were in animals.Different strategies were s ggested to improve the design of clinical trials with ne roprotective agents in stroke treatment:more caref l selection of patients, w ho in previ- o s st dies might be too heterogeneo s in terms of pathogenesis, severity, and the demonstration of the presence of salvage- able cerebral ischemic tiss e.Conclusion　Combination therapy w ith different ne roprotective dr gs might represent another strategy in the f t re.
