DAB can also delivery data, text, picture and video, making it actually a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) system. Many countries including China have broadcasted DAB/DMB for several years. This paper studies the lithium-ion battery, lithium-ion battery charge and discharge characteristics, lithium batteries that the various stages (pre-charging, constant current charging, constant voltage charging) voltage and current variation.Study and comparison of existing lithium battery charging method to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the various charging circuit to find out the charging circuit is suitable for the portable digital broadcasting receiver; complete the charger hardware circuit design, and study how to improve the charging circuitreliability and security.
