Resu lts N odu ar gastritis is u sua y c assif ied as nodu ar type A ( nodu- ar gastritis) and type B ( a troph ic gastr itis w ith nodu ar changes) . The endoscop ic appearance o f nodu ar gastr itis w as character ized as unifo rm m i iary pa ttern and predom inan t y affec ted young w om en. T he inc idence o f dyspeptic symptom w as h igher in patients w ith nodu ar gastr itis than in atrophy gastritis. N odu ar g astritis in adu ts is cau sed by H elicobacter py lori infection. A ntra b iop sy specmi ens show ed ym pho id fo ic e fo rm a- tion and / or m arked ym pho id aggregates. The preva ence of ym phoid fo ic e fo rm ation in the antrum w as h igher in patients w ith nodu ar g astritis than a trophy g astritis. M oderate to severe atrophy gastritis a so u sua y has the sam e nodu ar endo scop ic appearance, but that is no t uniform and intensive.
