Unit 2 Topic 1 I have a small nose. Section A(说课稿) 陈晓玲 Good morning, teachers. My name is Chen Xiaoling. I’m from Sixia Junior High School. Today It’s my honor to stand here to talk about Section A of Topic1 I have a small nose in Unit2. I will divide the instruction into four parts: Analysis of the teaching material, Teaching methods, Studying ways and Teaching procedure. Part One: Analysis of the teaching material Status and function This is SectionA of Topic 1 in Unit 2. It plays a very important role in this Unit. In this section, Students will learn some adjectives and some new words about parts of body, and they are required to use these words to describe people’s appearance with have and has and adjectives. (二)Analysis of the students The Ss has learned English for about one month so far. They can understand some words and some simple sentences. They have taken a great interest in English now. (三)Teaching ims Knowledge objects (1) To learn the names of the parts of human body. (2) To learn adjectives long / short, big / small, wide / small, round. (3) To learn the usage of has / have. (4) Could describe people’s appearance by using adjectives Ability objects To develop the Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Moral objects To develop the Ss’ abilities of observation and summation To develop the Ss’ abilities of communicating with each other in English (四)Teaching important and diff points 1.Teaching important points: Describe people’s appearance the adjectives they will learn in Topic1, Unit2. 2.Teaching difficult points:The usage of has / have.
