M e thods Human fetus specmi ens from term inated preg nancies, 12 males and 18 females w ith gestational ages of 9 - 28 weeks, were collected from hospitals in Guiyang, China, between Jan. 2003 andDec. 2005. A ll pregnantwomen were informed of the purpose of this study and the protocol was approved by the Ethics Comm ittee of Guiyang M edical College. HE staining was adopted to observe the genesis of lymphoid tissue in human fetal ileum. IgMpositive B cellswere detected by mi munohistochem ical SABC staining, and counted by B ioM ias 29 mi age analysis software. R elevant data were statistically analyzed.
