At first, Americans did not like his poetry about the reality of rural life because they preferred poetry with more complex images and thoughts. He spent some time in Great Britain, where he published his first two collections A Boy’s Will and North of Boston. Things changed for Frost when he returned to the United States, where he became known and loved by many Americans. He died in Boston on January 29, 1963. Reading While you read B.
