We will introduce some key components of electric system as follows: Section II Text Resistors, Capacitors, and Inductors A resistor is a circuit element with the property that the current though it is times to the voltage drop across its terminals by a constant value called the resistance1. The value of the resistance is always positive. A capacitor is an electrical component consisting of two parallel plates.
