Topic: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: People who go outside are more successful and happier than people who stay in villages. Nowadays, many rural residents swarm into big cities to live and work. They believe that their successes and dreams are in the big cities. However, from my perspective, people who stay in villages are indeed happier and more successful than people who leave their land. People who stay in villages have more leisure time. Contrary to the fact that people living in big cities always have to work all year long, there is no need for residents in the rural places to work busily on the farmland. After finishing the daily routine work, they are able to enjoy much more leisure time than people who move out from the countryside. There is the possibility that in the leisure time, people can go fishing and swimming in the ponds and rivers; they may have some collective activities such as go hiking and camping together; they can also light a bonfire, singing and dancing in the wild. I believe that the happiness in the leisure time is so appealing and admirable for people who go outside. People who stay in villages suffer much less from the living and working pressure. Understandably, people who move to other places always try hard to get high salaries, finish tough tasks, and progress to higher positions. Some bad moods, for example, frustration and anxiety, and even some psychological diseases, like melancholia and mania, may follow. However, people who stay in villages always do some less challenging work, which makes them free from the stress. They do not have to worry about how to find a high-paid job, how to win awards and approval from their bosses and managers, and how to become celebrities in the whole society.
