Teaching aims and demands Knowledge object The students are able to listen, speak, and read the words: cold, hot, cool, warm, weather. Ability object 1 Through this course, training the students to apply the sentence: It’s … in …in the real situation. 2 Training the students’ abilities of spelling, listening, and reading. Emotion object Lead the students to feel that no matter what badly the weather is, try best to protect our environment. 3. Teaching importance and difficulties Importance: The listening, speaking, reading and application about the words: cold, warm, cool, hot, weather. Difficulties: 1 the pronunciation of ‘weather’. 2 In China, different places have different weather.. Part 2 Teaching and studying methods As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in Primary School is to cultivate students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of English language. So in this lesson I’ll mainly use ‘Communicative’ teaching method, ‘Audio-visual’ teaching method and ‘Task-based’ teaching method. Studying Ways: First, the students learn the important sentences by guessing, acting, listening. ?Then, lead the students to study English language by Communicating, Describing, ??Listening.
