教学设计 第 一 周 星期 第 节 教学课题 Unit 1 My New Teacher 教学课时 The first period 教学目标 1. Enable the students to master the question: Who’s your teacher? What’s he like? And give the correct answers.
2. Get the students to master the four-skill words in this lesson.
3. Enable the students to be familiar with the song: My New Teacher. 教学重点 1. The four-skill words: young, old, tall, short, strong, thin etc.
2. The new sentence patterns:
Who’s your art teacher? …is my art teacher./My art teacher is…
3. What’s he /she like? He/She’s… 教学难点 The new sentence patterns:
Who’s your art teacher? …is my art teacher./My art teacher is… 教具准备 1. Pictures.
2. The recorder together with its tape.
Teaching procedure: 教学过程:
Step 1 Warm-up
1. Sing a song: My New Teacher. Help the students to be familiar with it.
2. Free talk:
T: Hello, boys and girls . welcome back to school. How are you?What grade are you in? Do you have new books? Now please guess what the unit is about.
3. Game: teacher shows out some word cards about the characteristic, review: tall, short, strong, thin , funny ,young, fat ,cool, cute, students look and say out the word quickly then spell it.
T: I show the picture of a tall man.
Ss: Tall, T-A-L-L , tall , 高的。
Step 2 Presentation
1. T: Do you have new teachers?
Ss: We have a new computer teacher?
T: Who’s your computer teacher?
Ss: Mr Li is our computer teacher.
T: What’s he like? Is he young? Is he…?
2. Help the students to give some information about their new teachers and then present the words:
young, old, tall, short, strong, thin, funny and kind
1) read and spell: young ,young, y-o-u-n-g, young, He’s tall and young.
2) Hind the pictures , guess, what’s he like? Ss: He’s young.
3) talk in pair.
3. Read the words and remember them.
Activity :
Write the words on the blackboard, get the students to read the words quickly. Divide the whole class into four groups and have a competition.( who gets the wrong pronunciation must stand up , until t
