In order to develop various embedded applications based on hardware according t o the requirement of products and the need of study , the embedded Linux system is transplanted into the 32 bit microprocessor S3C2410A successfully wit h the docking mode of the host and development board according to the characters of ARM and Linux , and then the needed embedded development platform is set up. Several debugging met hods are discussed and a overall package method is put forw ard. T aking a Qtopia application as an example, the development process of an embedded applicat ion program is depicted.
